What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

Contact forms

Contact Us Form- This site uses a contact form for you to get in touch with us. The personal data that you enter in this form is sent as an email to us and no data is stored on this website.

Grant Application Form- We also use a form for grant applications. When this form is submitted the information entered into it is sent to us as a PDF document by email and none of this data is stored on this website.

In this form there is a ‘Save & Continue Later’ option where you can create a link for continuing the form at a later date. Upon clicking the link in the form, the user will be presented with a custom link to the current state of their form submission, with the option of sending the link via email. Links created will last 30 days. After that period, the link will no longer be accessible.

When this feature is used the data you have entered into the form is saved on our server for 30 days. We us a SSL certificate to encrypt the communication between your browser and the server. However the URL (link) generated is accessible to anyone who has it, and the URL can be used to decrypt the saved details within the database. You must store this link securely otherwise it is possible that someone could access the partially submitted data as well as continue the submission of it.

If you contact us, or apply for a grant, through this website we hold your date no longer than is necessary to keep you updated about our work or deal with your grant application.

If you use the ‘Save & Continue Later’ function when completing the Grant Application Form the data in your partially completed form is sent to our server. It is saved here for 30 days.

What rights you have over your data

If you have applied for a grant with us you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Data provided by you through our contact form or Grant Application form are sent directly to the Trustees of the Trust via email when you submit the forms.

If you use the ‘Save & Continue Later’ function when completing the Grant Application Form the data in your partially completed form is sent to our server. It is saved here for 30 days. This data is sent over a secure connection (SSL) and therefore is encrypted. However the link you receive to come back to complete your form is accessible by anyone who has it so must be stored securely.

To ensure your data is protected we do not store any personal data on this website and instead use reputable third parties to hold and process data.
