1. About these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.primrosetrust.org (“the Website”) and your submission of a grant application to The Primrose Trust (“the Trust”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Website or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. About us

3. Using our Website
You may use our Website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Use the Website in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, our systems, or any data held by us
- Use any automated system (such as a bot or scraper) to access the Website without our permission
- Upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others
We may suspend or restrict access to the Website, at our discretion, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this Website, including text, images and the Primrose Trust logo, is owned by or licensed to the Trust and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, distribute or otherwise use our content without our prior written permission.
5. The grant application process
5.1 Eligibility
Grant applications are considered only where they meet our published Application Criteria, available on our Grants page. We reserve the right to update our criteria from time to time, and applications are assessed against the criteria in force at the time of application.
5.2 Submitting an application
Applications must be made by completing the online Grant Application Form. You may save a partially completed application and return to it later using the link provided. Once you submit your completed application, you will receive a PDF copy of your application, which you should sign and return to us by post together with your most recent annual report, audited accounts and, where applicable, evidence of charitable status.
5.3 No guarantee of funding
Submitting an application does not guarantee that funding will be awarded. Decisions are made entirely at the discretion of the Trustees, taking into account our published criteria, the information provided, and the funds available to the Trust at the relevant time.
5.4 Accuracy of information
By submitting an application, you confirm that the information provided is, to the best of your knowledge, true, complete and accurate. We reserve the right to request additional information or evidence, to verify any information provided, and to reject any application that we reasonably believe to be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading.
5.5 Decisions of the Trustees
Applicants will normally be informed of the Trustees’ decision within two months of receipt of a complete application. The Trustees’ decision is final, and the Trustees will not enter into further correspondence or appeals regarding individual decisions.
5.6 Use of awarded grants
Where a grant is awarded, any further terms and conditions relating to the use, reporting or acknowledgement of that grant will be communicated separately and form part of a distinct agreement between the Trust and the recipient organisation.
6. Limitation of liability
We provide the Website and the grant application process on an “as is” basis. While we take reasonable care to keep the Website accurate and available, we do not guarantee that it will always be available, secure or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Trust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from technical failure, except where such loss arises from our negligence or wilful misconduct, or where it cannot be excluded by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
7. Links to other websites
Our Website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices or availability of any external websites, and including a link does not imply our endorsement.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
